Osama Daoud Abdellatif

Chairman

Osama Daoud Abdellatif is the Chairperson of DAL Group, Sudan’s largest and most diversified conglomerate. Over five decades, he transformed the family business into a powerhouse spanning agriculture, food production, automotive, engineering, real estate, education, and financial services. His leadership modernized Sudan’s agri-food sector through brands like Sayga Flour Mills, Blue Nile Dairy, and DAL Food, elevating the quality and reliability of essential staples for millions.


He also reshaped Khartoum’s commercial landscape through major real estate development, brought global automotive brands to Sudan, and championed education with the founding of the Khartoum International Community School (KICS). His regional vision extends to the UAE, co-founding Africa Gulf Bank and Air Arabia Sudan in partnership with leading Abu Dhabi institutions. Today, DAL Group employs over 10,000 people, reflecting Abdellatif’s long-standing impact on industry, community, and economic development across Sudan and the region.

Managing Director

Amir brings over three decades of leadership experience across automotive, heavy machinery, and food industries. He began his career as Managing Director of DAL Group in London and later served as a director at DAL Motors, the Sudanese Tractor Company, and DAL Food Industries. As the driving force behind Invictus, he has played a central role in shaping the company into a major player in regional commodity markets.

Amir Daoud Abdellatif

Amir brings over three decades of leadership experience across automotive, heavy machinery, and food industries. He began his career as Managing Director of DAL Group in London and later served as a director at DAL Motors, the Sudanese Tractor Company, and DAL Food Industries. Mohd Loay is a seasoned institutional investment advisor with deep experience managing complex, multi-asset portfolios and strengthening governance, assurance, and risk frameworks. He has spent over 18 years at Royal Group,

where he is now Chief Investment Officer, following earlier roles in internal audit and international consulting.

He holds multiple global qualifications, including an MBA, CPA Fellowship, and CFE Fellowship, and serves as Vice Chairman of Africa Gulf Bank and a Board Member at Sawaeed Holding and Burjeel Holdings PLC.

Mo Ibrahim is an accomplished technology executive and entrepreneur with deep experience founding and scaling high-impact companies in the Middle East and Africa. Mo is the Founder of Maly Tech, the DIFC-based platform pioneering AI-driven FinTech in GCC and emerging markets. He also founded and scaled several other software development and technology management firms.

Mo previously served as Chief Strategy & Corporate Development, where he led long-term strategic planning, corporate growth initiatives, and business expansion for leading Telcos across the Middle East & Africa (MTN and Saudi Telecom). His background gives him a unique blend of startup agility and corporate governance insight, making him a strong asset for guiding growth, innovation, and strategic decisions at board level.

Tawfik is a Co-founder and CTO of Maly Tech, the DIFC-based platform pioneering AI-driven FinTech in GCC and emerging markets. He brings deep expertise in AI, data-driven strategy, and tech-commercial operations, bridging technical insight and business leadership.  Tawfik brings to the board a strong mix of strategic insight, analytical rigor, and experience scaling technology-driven operations.
